Any one been to the Pull a part in winston in the past few weeks that can tell me if the WJ there still has front Axle/brakes/steering?

I'll ask this here, too, even though I am asking in OEM tech, because I need to know ASAP: What's the size of the axle nut on a WJ? I've been google-ing with mixed results.

Obviously I am trying to get parts for a WJ conversion up front, if you've done it, any advice for my JY trip would be super helpful, especially if you can warn me about any problems I will encounter.

Thanks dudes!

As for the axle nut size, call the local parts store (any of them) and ask them to look it up. Their system will list it. If they don't know what they're doing, tell them to pull up a CV shaft for it (you'll have to give them a year and all that stuff).

Bring a breaker bar for that axle nut when you get there. Those things can be tight! And if there like ones for other vehicles, they're a one time use thing, so you'd have to pick up new ones at the parts store anyways.

The wj was a bust...

But, I got some v8 zj springs and a front ds for the rear post-sye.

The thing I really went out there for was a second efan, but it continues to elude me.

If you're still in the Greensboro/Winston area, check out 109 u-pull it. (http://www.109upullit.net/)

Their prices aren't as cheap as PAP, but there's usually a much better selection of Jeep's (and cars in general) that are generally in much better shape than what you find at PAP.

They had a big fire this year that wiped out their building, and they just recently got it back open, so i'm not sure if they've changed their prices at all to make up for what they spend rebuilding.

Their weekend hours are Saturday morning only. Closed on Sunday but otherwise open normal hours during the week.

Yea, I've considered going there, but they have the online database, which is nice to check, and I know already they dont have anything i'm looking for... Unless they don't have it all in the DB.
