Sorry to make this post here but the folks at NAGCA had no clue ...

Do you know what ujoint model the '04 WJ with the doublecardan driveshift would use? Rumor is 1310s, but the parts store computers don't show any, just that all WJ have a Rezeppa style shaft which isn't true!

Thanks if you know =)

Should be 1310 if it's anything like any other passenger class jeep. Part number 5-153x for a greasable Spicer.

I had no idea any WJs came with a front ujoint driveshaft. I'll double check the parts catalog shortly.

PS: Technically this needs to be in other tech, I'm moving it there

edit: 04 WJ parts catalog says ujoint part numbers 04882793 or v8012793AA from the factory. Beats me what those crossref to aftermarket, but I'd put money on 5-153x or similar. Measure the caps to make sure, if they measure the same across the caps and the same cap diameter as an XJ driveshaft ujoint it's a 5-153x. They spec the same ujoints for the rear driveshaft as well if that helps you find them in an aftermarket catalog.

You rock! Thanks.

Yes, a very limited quantity of WJ's came with front and rear u-joint shafts, and the fronts are double cardan. Those of us who have them are damn lucky because the rezeppa style are garbage.

I'll measure them this weekend when its time to swap them out. I'm getting CRAZY vibrations under throttle under the driver's seat so I'm sure they are going to explode soon.
