WITC Price's

Don't they charge for each person too?

Winrock does the same. The reason I will not go there. Way too much IMHO! WITC just went through a closure didnt they?

exactly why it is so high...the amount of cost that it took to make the mods to the land to be able to remain open.

i am still going....:conceited

I went today and the price per person is $30. FOR THUR-SAT. if you went yesterday the price was $40 per person for WED-SAT. ect... it's easier to keep up with who pay'd or not. PS... the price one year ago was $20 per day. now it's $15 per day.

It's not because of the closure, they are taking advantage of all the people coming for new years. Woolys went through a closure too but they didn't raise their prices.

this is so wrong... read up

quoted from that topic if you dont have a membership

"Boy I bet he wishes all he had to do was pay a little labor and cut a few trees to build bridges man that would have been alot simpler.

And come on sat pay the normal 15 bucks and dont worry about having to pay for three days!

And if people would stay out of places there not supposed to be and follow rules it would be alot easier to charge day by day but the people that work there dont have time to keep up with diff. arm band for each day"

"no trees were cut for the making of the bridges, they are all made from telephone poles, which i and a few other people hauled from all over the state-who do you think paid for the fuel? and while we're on topic, i guess they took themselves to the sawmill and cut themselves into planks. i guess he grew all the strawlmat himself aswell. i guess, also, that all the chirt just magically appeared on his property and put itself down, the same as the silt fence. i guess the engineers that tdec required for the erosion control paid for themselves. you can't even begin to imagine the amount of money and paid man hours that went into keeping the park open-to the point that it almost didn't happen. you're a douche and ought to be tea-bagged twice a day for the rest of your life!"

"Don't people realize that this is the only park with a full kitchen and a full shop? If you break the first day, come to the shop & try to get it fixed!!! Darron has the best facilities, cabins, RV hookups, & the most camping of any place I've ever been to. Plus the only park with the amount of tow rigs & the size & quality shop he has. I think the price is reasonable! BTW you try checking armbands for 4 days on 3,000 people that are spread across 700+ acres of land. As far as not enough land to ride for 4 days, you must not know about all the trails, & the weekend of New Years, it would take you 3 or 4 days to ride all the trails & do the raffle & karaoke. But if thats is your opinion, you are entitled. I for one will be having a blast @ WITC this New Years, as I have every New Years before! "

PLUS! he had to pay the tdec fines in the 6 digit range on top of forking over the money to make the changes to the land.

woolys closed volunteeringly after seeing what witc was going through. woolys had to close ALOT of stuff that brought in the bigger rigs who would put on a show and is what alot of people go for on the new years rides. i used to ride woolys alot but it has become all lower level trails. there are only 3 or 4 main "tough" trails.

those are my .02 on the issue and i will go out and support my local offroad park. if you dont like the prices then just go on saturday when they are the cheapest...

It simply comes down to this. Either you pay to ride or you don't. I like WITC and plan on going again as soon as I can.

I just wanted to ride for a day. but I did not want to pay $30 for one day.
I like WITC a lot and I'll be back to ride. But i just can't see paying $30 for one day.
I understand that it took a lot of work to reopen. I'll ride on a none event day and pay $15 to get in.

Well you got to PAY to Play guys. Everyone here dumps tons of money into their rigs. New Years is a huge event. I was talking with some of the workers there and over 4,000 people came through. Possibly a lot more after each days total. Now add different color arm bands, try to keep up with who comes and goes. Much easier to pay 1 price guys. Plus there is a ton of fence, bridges, rock, etc that has been done to the property.

Wooly's has very few difficult trails now. And it is smaller than WITC . Wooly's is ok for a day ride but nothing more than that. How many people was at wooly's?

I cant give an exact # but there wasn't anywhere to park another tow rig, not to mention all the rigs that didn't get towed in.

yeah they are kinda limited on the parking. Glad to see WITC was parking people in the fields below this year. Wooly's is good but I hate seeing people knock a park for the price. And after what has been done to keep it open I don't mind supporting it. Hope both of them stay around for a while....
