WITC---accident

Hey who all went there on Friday?

There was an accident & heard that a guy lost his arm..anyone know about it?

I was there I did not see it. but heard about it from a guy that saw it. the guy was going up axle hill had his arm out the window and sudenly rolled. pinched his arm between the cage and a rock. he was chopper'd to vanderbilt. but lost his arm.

it was peck johnson in the red and yellow buggy on 2.5 tons. i watched it and it was brutal. he is supposed to be coming home on sunday.

my thoughts and prayers go out to him!

Hell I think I have met that guy at Mountainside...

Wow...My prayers go to him and his family as well. In July I have my arm out the window, and put my XJ on it. I didn't lose anything thank god.

God speed a speedy recovery for him.

Peck made it home today. It is very sad to hear this. But he is a trooper and is already talking about wheelin again. I was there but at camp. I have met him once and been watching him wheel for a while. great guy.

that's great to hear...I saw him at Montainside doing the rock crawl & we chatted about one of the trails..he had a look of shock that I had drove it.. LOL

rumor has it that wheelin in the country is going to setup a "benefit" ride for him being he is a single father of 2 and could use all the help he could get. i will post up more info as i hear about it.

Bob the owner of Mountainside told me Sunday about it. Said 3 weeks ago he went off a cliff at another park inhis rig, fixed it, then ran it at WITC an was goin up a climb an flopped it with his arm out the window and slid back down all the way on it... Must have ben extremely painful.

Hats off to the guy if he gets back to wheelin....

I just got word that WITC will most likely have a benefit ride some time in FEB.

don't know all the details. but will keep yall posted.
