Wisconsin Cast Iron needs welding

A Buddy of mine just got a real nice (if your into them) VW euro van for free. The PO was moving and couldnt haul all three vehicles. Any how after checking it over the only thing really wrong was a cracked exhuast manifold. After looking into it we discovered it is cost prohibitive to replace, $700 something dollars for a new one if it can even be gotten. Anyhow just wondering if any one knows of a reputible person in Wisconsin that could weld up the crack in the Cast Iron manifold.
