Any one out there winter camp? And not with the jeep ie snowshoe, ski?
I usualy go on a four or five day trip with some buddies. The first year we pulled some of our gear on kiddie sleds. That did not work well. Anyhow we have upgraded to icefishing sleds, the smaller ones, and everyone has tried to expand upon the towing system. Most of us have tried some variation of 1/4-1/2" pvc pipe with the tow rope inside, to create rigid tow poles. Inevitable the rope stretches, the pole breaks ect.
I want to use a ball joint of some type or something of that nature to create a solid tow point. We are traveling on tight up and down terrain in the woods. Any ideas from the
over-engineers?
