Windows 7 questions

I probably dumbed down Windows 7 too much. Notebooks are not made for major upgrades only ram, hard drives maybe processor.

Yeah, figures. I'll probably end up buying something newer sometime next year, hand this one down to my wife. It does what she'd need it for anyways.

I guess the DirectX upgrade from 2k to XP is ok, but I don't game. Therefore it has absolutely no bearing on me :dunno:

Also, server 08 is pretty ok but it's got some pretty retarded issues with memory corruption detection on high-end corporate big iron servers. Spent months debugging those this spring :banghead:
