Winch bumper attempt.

Yeah, I doubled the 3/16 plate where the whinch mounts so that it wouldnt wallow out the mounting holes and once i get it mounted ill add several braces to make good anchor points.
 
Sorry guys, the progress on the winch bumper has been low on my totem poll but since i ordered a winch the other night i decided to bumper it up a lil.
Heres what I got done yesterday after work. I'll start welding on it soon as i can.

It also adds 40,000 HP to your engine. and at highway speeds it helps with areodynamics as much as 6 wide by 3 foot tall wing on the rear of a front wheel drive tuner car. ( What do these people think a huge wing on a rear wheel drive car is gunna do? add traction the non pulling tires i guess. All i've notcied that they do is make the car uncontrolable around 90 mph... LOL It's just funny! ) Now back to a more serious matter, the warranty covers 1 bull dozer but for insurance sake im pretty sure it could handle 2 bull dozers.

I have a wing on my XJ... I also already have a blow up doll. So what's the total... I got kinda lost in all of the excitment. 6.50 + s&h?

Unfortunatly I'm making VERY little progress since I've been working 75 hours a week while being project manager on some retarded filtration system! I'm not the best welder in the world so I'm having to work around my welder buddies schedule as well... I plan to meet up with him and get some welding done tomorrow... maybe I'll have some pictures... Sorry... I'll post here asap! Subscribe to the thread!

what are you doing different?

i'm planning on building a bumper for my jeep out of some channel and flat stock.

should help a lot with approach angle with my TJ flares.
