Like the suspension design? Those upper arms can droop down a bit, and they hit little bumpstops....genius.

i never did. i tech technology education and use lego robotics quite often. motors, gears, temp sensors, angle sensors, lights....pretty cool stuff.

My first year at UK in engineering, they had us playing with LEGOS. Some eng-101 class with the mindstorm legos. We had to build a "vehicle" to clear an obsticle course.

One other member in my group wheeled a CJ another a ZJ. Needless to say we kicked everyone elses ass with our 4 wheel drive system and programable robot thang. It was freakin sweet; I could play with that thing all day.

Yeah, well I meant TRUE playing. I just had a project with lego mindstorms to get through a maze, pick up something, and get back out of the maze. That was fun for about an hour, then it became work. This was all playing.

I don't know man, doing that project was pretty wicked... In designing the LEGO thang I learned alot of practical stuff in regards to my jeep. Like how to make something actual drive up a 70 degree ramp without flipping over, assuming you have the torque...

My roomate started yelling at me if I remember right when I kept getting all exited shouting "Hot damn! This Jeep just drove over that. Look at it! Its practically verticle!!!" Then he'd say something like that isn't a jeep and make fun of me, and then I'd tell him he'd never be successful in life, etc. till we would start beating the shite out of each other for awhile till we got bored.

I swear I spent like a day trying to figure out how to make a 4 link suspension without even having the lego springs...

holy shit, that stuff is amazing. I'm going to be staring at that page all night.

And XJJEEEPER, I'm on my way to a few walmarts tomorrow to find those things. The thread on pirate4x4 for those toys made me think of these legos. All this stuff is too cool. I'm going to sell my jeep and buy toys now.
