I had a great time, Thanks for coming out and spotting for me Bobby. We will definately have to do it again. I have keith coming over tomorrow to help me get the jeep off the trailer so I can get the steering colum replaced. Been looking at the roof and decided the best route is to cut it all off at the belt line and just replace it. should be fairly quick, also noticed I broke the upper passengerside rear frame end control arm mount. That is why the shocks were so out of line. I will fix that and beef it up some more also. Quick recap of the weekend, we left Milton at 9:20 in the morning and after about almost 7 hours of driveing and listening to the Tom Tom telling us where to go we arrived. We ended up getting there and camp set up about 20 minutes prior to tech. Little Rich came by and asked Bobby if he could tech the rig before we had it off the trailer. Once he got that done we talked to him on what we would need to run Exhibtion in Werock Promod. As I had already figured out we would only need to add the killswitch which I already have sitting here and a lexan sheild between me and the radiator which I already knew and ball valves on all the fuel line ports and tank breather. The only other thing I would need that I ha not known was I will also need window nets which will be easy enough. We took the rest of the day easy and got up around 7:00 on Saturday morning. They did not start up on schedual as they wanted to stretch itout all day. We finally did the drivers meeting close to around 10:30 or 11:00. after that it was on. We had walked all the courses the day before and chose our routes already and managed to run around and draw maps of the routes we chose before the comp started so we could refresh or memories prior to each course. We quickly discoved that I am gonna have to increase my turning radius to do really good in this but we wil take care of that before next time. We managed to go 3 for 3 for the day by rolling on every course. First course was onto its lid which put and end to that course, 2nd couse managed to roll it off the cliff but landed on my feet still running so we went right to work finishing that course with 13 seconds to spare, got on our 3rd course and had cleared every gate with a 1 cone penalty and were going up the bonus climb to get set up to do the 20' cliff drop .I made it up the bonus climb and was trying to get the wheel to turn right when at the same time I realized it had broken, I hit the drop off on my left and off I went rolling down the cliff again. At that point I started whooping and hollering while just enjoying the ride since I had no other choice. somewhere when it hit the second time in the roll I let go of the wheel and it spun the colum and ripped the ignition switch wires out so we could not get the jeep started and decided we were done for the week. Some of the Naxja guys were there and TeamWillys Has a shop and had everything needed to fix it offered his asistance and said we could come over to do it all Saturday night if we wanted but after a long day, Bobby and I decided we were not up for an all nighter fixing the jeep and traveling an hour each way to do it and called it over for us. I know I had a great time and I think Bobby did also. We drove home yesterday after the comp was over and got to my house around 1:30 in the morning. After Bobby left to go home, I went straight to bed and have been napping on and off all today, I was and am still wiped out but will definately do it again. TeamWillys, thank you again for the very generous offer and hope to meet up with you and the rest of the Naxja guys again. As soon as I get a couple customer jobs I have sitting here done I will fix mine and be ready to go bash it again
