2008 Grizzly 700 EPS. Ricochet Full skid plates. Stock tires for now. Looking to get some new tires with my tax return if it's big enough after paying a bill off.

Ride mostly in MA and NY.

where in MA?

State forests, out of state registration is $35 a year.

Pittsfield State Forest
Beartown State Forest
October Mountain State Forest
Tolland State Forest

They are the only ones left open to ATV's/Dirt bikes, years ago over 50 were open.

i personally have an 04 raptor 660 with some mods, but in the fam we have (2) 680 Rincons, another 660 raptor, 400 Kodiak , 250 KX & a 250 YZ

I used to have a 2001 Polaris sportsman 500 with full under armor, A arm guards, and ramsey 3000 winch amsteel blue synthetic line - homebuilt modified air intake for deep water fording. I sold it about 3 years ago b/c NJ is next to impossible to ride legally. Did alot of night riding when the trails were empty so we had 5 lights up front (2 stock with handle bar high beam headlight override kit and additional 2 pencil beams) and rigged up a reverse light. My father in law had essentially the same set up.

yeah i been to pittsfield, its getting tough.

Apparently there is a trail somewhere in Franklin MA. I have heard my buddy used to go out there. I forget exactly where it is though (I have a whole website listing all MA trails bookmarked on my PC at home). I work right down the road from it but have never been. I'm not sure if the trail is atv/dirtbike or bike only.. I remember my buddy was talking about one day that he brought his quads to work and went to ride after he got out and was sent away... but I can't remember if he was sent away because it was not a quad trail or because the trail was closed (I think it's seasonal).

There is also freetown state forest I think.

I don't got an ATV but have a yamaha XT350. Love having it registered/legal on the street  just ride to the gas station, gas up, and ride to the trail :D

I will post the link to all trails once I get home if I remember. I usually just ride around on some private land that I got the OK to be on down near plymouth MA or on the land out behind my friends house. my father has 16 acres of land as well that I will be starting to explore with both the Jeep and the XT soon. Alot of it may be swampland but idk for sure. It all depends on the weather or so I have heard.

My next purchase when I save up some cash is going to be either a Yamaha TW200 or WR250 dual sport.

I can't wait to go out cruising down some dirt roads and finding some off road trails.

I picked up my '89 XT350 for $100. :D Was sitting in the guys basement for years and needed a good carb cleaning and new tires. Put new brakes on it and a couple other things. runs like a champ.

Check out that link, might have some trails that would be good

Edit: Just looked at it and both the franklin trails and freetown forest are all single track. So not good for you ATV guys, maybe something else on there would be good though. Sorry about that.

Edit 2: Just noticed that some of the locations have video up now. Like the franklins trails at least have a video of a few guys riding at least part of the trail. pretty cool that tehy give you a sample
