Who has an OEM Tank Skid?

Not much of a problem with that out here...

Actually just pulled my skid from my '89 ('88 was gonna borrow it) after having it on for three years and there's no issue there.

huh? On my 99, my gas tank is plastic so its not a problem. Did the older models have a metal tank?

I have a metal fuel tank on my 93 XJ. I put the OEM skid over the plastic fuel tank cover. I would imagine this would solve any mud issue due to the tight fit.

toughxj - With extensive mods it probably will but it won't bolt straight up.
