Which Sway Bar Bushing Kit?

No calipers or precision device to gauge radius. Guess I can take it off and measure dia with a steel shop ruler. I guess I was hoping a specific year, make and model would have come from the factory with one stock sway bar diameter.

You don't have to take it off. Got a set of open-end wrenches? See which one fits over the bar, and which one doesn't. If you only have SAE wrenches, then convert to metric. 1" = 25.4mm

Buy one of these...

It's on sale cheap enough that everybody ought to have one.

Take a twist-tie and wrap it around your sway bar. Take it off, and measure the length of the tie that wrapped around your bar. That will give you the circumference

Divide circumference by pi (3.1416), and you'll have the diameter of the bar.

This will give you a measurement accurate enough to know for sure which bushing to buy.

I suggest that you take an adjustable wrench and tighten it until it touches the sway bar.

Then take off the adjustable wrench (without changing adjustment) and measure the space between the jaws with a metric ruler.

That should give you your measurement.

Now that I figured that out, I'm going to measure mine that way as I need to replace my bushings and needed to find out the measurement myself.

just replaced my front bushings today and the guy at the parts store let me borrow a caliper I measured it picked up the new bushings and I was good to go. I got some Moog ones and end links. The handling is much better now, like new
