Which MC for Large GM front and small GM rear calipers???

Can this be done on the stock calipers since we all know the XJ brakes suck?

Yes. But to be fair - the XJ brakes were adequate for a stock XJ on 28.5 inch tires. Stopping an XJ with an added thousand pounds or more of bumpers, winch, skids, tools, parts, and tires and wheels that are Much bigger and heavier than stock therefore exerting their additional momentum through a larger arc - well, they just weren't designed for that. SO, don't you think if we're going to modify so many other aspects of our XJs we shouldn't be surprised at the need to upgrade our brakes as well?

I am completely with you on them being adequate for stock. I am just wanting to know if you can change the MC with stock calipers and have great braking again like the factory. I just want to feel safe again with my 33's. It is weird how my TJ has 36x14.5's and the stock brakes still lock up on it. Thanks again DuG

I bought mine at Napa PN#10-2008, it was like $19 if I remember right.

Awesome m/c AND a low price.
