Between the b&m stacked plate that jeepin.com did and the stacked plate rapid-cool hayden? Both are equally priced, but the hayden could be had locally.

But I also believe that the b&m has a thermostatic bypass device while the hayden does not. Ultimately, I will probably add a remote oil filter which will have the bypass. This will completely bypass the intank CSF btw.

Just found this:

According to the last post, the coolers are indeed the same. So I guess the hayden will have the bypass valve.

Upon reading write-ups like Jasons, I realize that I may have another dilemma. I have a dual e-fan set up that works great for engine temps. Everyone seems to mount their cooler on the passenger side in front of the mechanical fan which I no longer have. I keep the A/C on during the summer time while cruising around in stop and go and this keeps the temp under 210. Will it be a problem for the cooler?

I think it would make more sense to mount on the driver side if you do alot of wheelin. When you're at like 1500 rpm that mech. fan isn't spinning very fast, and the electric fan only spins at one speed. If you live in a place where it gets cold in the winter, the electric fan seldom even comes on, so you don't have to worry about any possible overcooling issues.

On the other hand, the mech. fan is constantly running. Just my 2 cents.

EDIT: You only have electric fans. I don't think it would be a problem where you mounted the cooler.
