Where is my history?

I'm a long time member with tons of old tech posts yet I can't find any of them. I also have 4 unread pms that I can't access.

What can be done to correct this problem?

Well over 3000 posts before the forum upgrade, probably more than that. I even have 4 unread PM's that don't show up in my inbox or anywhere. Ask Crash, Goatman or other oldtimers, I used to be very active and had posted tons of good tech info. I was even the most prolific poster many times.

LOL, I know your username.... so I do not need to ask anybody. Not even a used car sales guy, thanks. But if you have a URL to a post (would be in one of the 3000 emails you received) I may be able to look it up. And yeah, I pre-date the "old-timers" you mentioned. But you have to help me. Did you make any changes to your account? The "forum upgrade" has probably nothing to do with your issue.

As for your PM's, that has been covered in this very forum multiple times. :roflmao:

The only change I've made was I updated my email address. I had the setting set so I didn't recieve emails for post subsciptions and have updated my computer since it crashed so I don't have any links I think... I'll look around. Itried to search for old posts I made and posted in and can't find any.. Maybe I can find a quote or something.

I think the search only goes back 500 posts. Why do you keep bringing up Goatman in your posts here? What does Goaty have do do with anything here?

OK, look. I see what I see in the database=what is in the forum. That is that, end of story.

That being said, I know you have been around. IIRC, you are a has-been Chrysler tech. I am a has-been GM Tech. So now that we know each other... oh, wait... you might remember me as Fireman, Glenn, etc..... If you can help me, I can try to help you. But Goatman and Beezil mean nothing here. Beezil is a ghost, Goatman is a libby woos these days. So.... where does that leave you?

I can tell from that post I joined a year or 2 before my listed join date also, about 2000 or so. Who knows??? I probably got lost in the shuffle. That's kind of the story of my life...

Scotty Mac, Oneton (new user name though), and Macgyver all still have Jeeps and were all at the unofficial Atticafest. You should have come and froze you toosh off with us.

Yea, all the old posts were lost... Oh well... I'm just working on getting my XJ put back together. I'm going with more of a JeepSpeed set-up. My main concerns are handling and ride. My days of wild trail runs are pretty much over. I had a neck fusion and the rest of my back is shot. Glad to see you are still around. At least some of the others are here also. As for winter runs the metal in my neck makes me so cold and stiff I'll just have to read about the fun you guys had.

What's OneTons new user name?

I just need a 242 case, shifter and front shaft since I sold the Klune/Atlas combo to pay some medical bills. That, a 4 link long arm, a few other parts and the time to get them installed.
