Wheel Noise

I have a intermittent thudding noise @ driver's side front end-- almost sounds like running on a flat tire. Comes & goes, often @ low speeds. You can feel it through pedals & sounds like it's coming from the wheel-- bad bearings?

Garage replaced sway bar links (gee thanks) & can't hear noise... Any ideas folks?

Check your Drivers Side axle u-joint. Ever replaced?

Mine had a similar noise. Turned out to be a bad/worn slip yoke on the front drive shaft.

Good call, forgot about that one. pain in the arse to find till I happened to grab the drive shaft to pull myself out from under the heep....thump! D'Oh!!
