My mom and I used to own an 86 2wd with the 2.8. The engine was solid, the brakes needed replacing every other month and it was rusted to pieces (350k+ miles in NY winters...) but it's one of my favorite vehicles from growing up. What I'd really like would be a ZR2 ext cab...

We ran it to 350k miles then sold it and the new owner (a friend of my mom's) contacted us after another 100k to say it's still running great but what's up with the breaks? He fixed the rust by pulling the bed and building a wooden stake bed. The engine just did great! I think we got a ringer though cuz my brother in law's 85 Blazer 2.8 hasn't run right as long as he's had it.

I had a 95 Super Sport, 4.3L CPI, Auto, 3.42 posi rear, regular cab. Thing was pretty quick for a mini-truck, I used to smoke all the ricers in high school with it.

Looks just like mine, nice A4. You can pull over 400 crank on a GTRS setup, its not surprising.
