I always get good responses from threads like this and being a NW person I have almost unlimited choices! It's also interesting to see what different types of beer people have from coast to coast. Anyways here we go....

unfortunately I can't remember the company but out of fort collins, CO there is a micro brewery that bases all their flavors on mining terms, best I've ever had, haven't seen it since 01

then Guiness

but since having kids I've become a HUGE fan of PBR because it makes the kids screaming go away quicker

Right now, Black Bear stout, for the future I'll let you know, our new bar here at work just opened last nite and our list of tap beers is pretty long, 8 pages compared to our food menu of 2 pages. We are evaluating 10 at a time we are also having our BBQ this weekend so there will be a dozen or so micro breweries out in the parking lot tonight and tomorrow where I will do my best to hoist a few....dozen or so

Mine's easy....I have two favorites and they are polar opposites...I like neither of the two more than the other, it just depends on my mood.

I like the black bear stout a lot too. Check our Old Viscocity it is a very high alcohol content dark beer.

I dont drink much, so I really dont go out looking for strange new beers, but ones I really like that are mainstream are Newcastle Brown, and Negra Modello.
