What's Your Favorite Beer?

I'm a beer guy.

Domestic: PBR or Miller High Life
Import: can't beat a Warsteiner for inexpensive german or Modelo especial for mexican.
Micros: I could go on for days but its a toss up between Rogue Dead Guy Ale and Stone's Arrogant Bastard, Double Bastard or Vertical Epic. with the Lagunitas Hop Stoopid leading the way. And my own favorites from my old work, from the Flagstaff Brewing Company, Babaganouj IPA and the Spruce Tip Pale Ale

but alas... i must go accross state lines to buy beer.

i have two bottles of arrogant bastard i smuggled into oklahoma after the texas game and state fair saved in the back of the fridge for a rainy day.
 
i brew my own, when i gotta buy beer, i like miller lite for swilling gallons, i like guiness when i'm only gonna sip 1 or 2. but for the past year, I've gotten in the habit of drinking scotch. I've found some fine whisky's that are priced reasonably low and drink VERY smooth.
 
didnt expect to see miller high life as a favorite beer... personally i think its pretty horrible.

ziegenbach is really good, also i love warsteiner
 
i cant help it, I'm in college so pbr is the cheapest in cans, high life is the cheapest in bottles. I got very used to drinking these two when i lived in flagstaff.
 
Cheap stuff or Beer pong beer: Naty Light
Normal drinking: Bud light, Shiner, Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, or Killians
Keg: Bud Light


I want to try that Arrogant Bastard Ale just because i like the bottle. I collect unique beer bottles.
 
well, kegs are just BIG cans so I'm going with the keg - although for taste glass is by far the best, nothing leeched.

I've been getting into Sam Adams Winter ale and Shipyard has come out with a new one, Prelude that's pretty good.

I've got to say though that this past June I had a week long conference at the U of Michigan in Ann Arbor and had to check out Ashley's. They give you a book to read for a menu.:cool: IIRC, they have 80 tap beers, 70 bottled beers, 40 some odd bourbons, etc.

We tried to get through the whole menu that week,but failed miserably. :eeks1:

I don't drink beer often. But when I do, I like to stay thirsty my friends! Dos X. I prefer to drink vodka and mineral water and/or juice. Absolut or Goose. :D

I have had the Bastard! It says on the bottle "You probably won't like it" and they were right. The bottle is kick ass tho.
 
Let's all be honest here...who really drinks beer for the taste though? The point is to create an altered mental state.....both expensive and cheap beer do it effectively, and after teh first 2 or 3 (maybe more, maybe less depending on body weight and tolerances) it all starts to taste the same anyway.
