All right - This is a true story. I kid you not.
I walk into the break room one day and there are two large cardboard boxes sitting on the floor. One is labeled "White Paper" and the other is labeled "Colored Paper." The lady coordinating recycling for the office is sitting there eating her lunch and I'm thinking this is too good to pass up. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. You can't do that!" I say.
"Do what?" she says. "It's recycling."
"You got white people putting their paper in one box and people of color putting their paper in another box."
"No!" she says. "The recycler wants paper with pigments to be separated from bleached paper."
"Well, that's not what your signs say."
I was just givin' her some chit, but next day I walk in and the "Colored" box says "Pigmented Paper" and the white box just says "Other." I feel like I did my little bit for the PC cause that day. Carry on.
