5 inch RE/DPG hybrid lift, with ACOS and OME shocks and stabilizer. JKS disco's.
optima blue top battery
gutted old carpet, painted floor with durabak, laid down dynamat and then installed new carpet.

the bad:
salvaged title due to dents on doors.
cut out fenders, no flares.
rear drivers pinch weld seperated alittle. water will get in there and rust out eventually.

Long story short i'm thinking about selling it mostly due to lack of wheeling anymore. I have spent a considerable amount of time and money building this thing and it is a great jeep. I have taken care of all the maintenance in the past 3 years i've owned it. I run royal purple in the axles, tranny, and transfer case. I can't post pics for some reason . my insurance totalled it back in june because of body damage i aquired on a trail out here. structurally and mechanically it is very sound. some new doors or body work would make it look really sharp again. i realize having a rebuilt title would mean it's worth roughly 50% of the bb value. that would make it around 2500-3000 dollars, i would think with everything it has it should be closer to 5000. or i'd be better parting it out, what do you guys think. thanks-Brian

Hey Brian, Where is your dog going to ride if you sell the Rig? I remember driving all the way out there to pick up your old steering, DONT do IT! What would you buy to replace it?

I know man, this is a very hard decision for me. I'll be transferring PCS this summer, possibly somewhere on the east coast, i don't want to drive this cross country. I have been looking at later model tacomas extended cab with a stick and canopy for Blu. I'm not going to make a choice until i get orders. this would make a very sweet rig for someone that realizes what it is. i feel like i've done all the correct mods for a suitable wheeler/daily driver. It does have a lp front axle and there is alittle vibe around 55-58 mph. it tracks straight and returns properly, no bumpsteer or DW. I'll let you guys know what my ultimate plan is when i find where i'm going. if i do decide to sell i'll post it up here on the NWC first before i put it on craigslist or pnwjeep. -brian

I know the army would pay a nice chunk to drive cross country on a PCS move. Just for fun ive added all the big upgrades together on my rig. I think I must have the worlds most expensive 87 XJ. would never get even half of whats gone in. its goten so out of hand, I may as well keep spending. if you start parting her out can i have dibs on the currie setup and the rear bumper ; ) as far as the toyota? :moon:

I just sold a 1997 Cherokee Country for $5000 and it had a salvaged title. The only aftermarket parts were 2in BB, 30in BFG's, Warrior bumper with ofroad lights, and a decent stereo. If your Jeep is not beat up I would think you could get more than $5000. I sold mine to the first person who looked at it real quick! Also, he got a loan for $5000 from the bank for it no problem.
