what winch schould i buy

Check out warns website. They are now selling refurbished winches for half the price. But you get the same warranty as if you were to buy a new one. Sounds like a no brainer to me. :guitar:

ive been thinking the same thing about getting a winch, but so many threads, has anybody got any thing about the ones with air compressors? and does it help to use pullys to lessen the load on a cheaper or smaller winch?

I wouldn't get one with an a/c, on board air is the way to go there, or like me, I went to harbor freight and bought a high volume 12v comp for $60.

yes, a pully, or technically a snatch block will double your winches load strength, but you're using twice the cable/rope and it takes twice the time. slow winching sucks

also, look for a used warn winch. they still last a lifetime
