I ordered new axle yokes for both axles. Finally gonna get my frankenshaft put together (thanks Patrick for the yoke) and get this thing moving again.

Put on a new fuel pump, cleaned out the fuel lines and got it to turn over. Now I need to adjust the carb to keep it running. I have also got the clutch working again. The slave cylinder went bad for sitting so long. While I was at it, I also changed the clutch matter cylinder. Going to be looking into the carb issues tomorrow. I rebuilt it a few months back and I do believe I messed up the adjustments. Once it gets running again, I am going to start the chopping of the top. Figured that would be easier in the driveway than the back yard.

Got the zj tie rod finally. Just need to install. Anyone have any luck with universal boots for them? The jy bar I got had a small tear, otherwise in great shape, the tre looks almost new

Found and bought an arb on Friday. Installed the tranny cooler on Saturday because I forgot to bring my hardware to Rogers house for the bumper. Then Sunday my brother in law and I put the bumper on.

Attempted to replace the rod end on my track bar. Can't get the rod end off without taking the track bar out. Can't get the track bar out since the axle end nut and bolt keep spinning. Can't get a wrench to fit in there, so I put it all back together to tackle it another day.
Also helped ass disco put his new roof rack on.

Here's the new rig:
94 XJ SE. 202k miles. 4.0, 5spd, 2wd. Picked it up in Plano for $700, drove it to Houston with no issue. Front end has some body damage, and it burns a little oil and the interior is kinda ugly, but I'm considering this thing a shell to build.
Thinking a 05/06 Wrangler 4.0/6spd with a 241J and pre-runner styling. Best part is it fits in my garage- my BMW doesn't.

Bene on my ass since late march, not even driving, but that is changing today. Time to go get reacquainted :laugh3: with my jeeps now, here is the story 
Just a heads up folks. I have been near death sick since march, lost 60 lbs (muscle atrophy) just laying in bed, went from 221 to 163, I Could barely stand, extreme muscle and joint pain head to toe, could barely hold and use a fork to eat, went through stages, that finally was diagnosed and now treated for the final stage (started out as sinus infection and bronchitis), last problem was a hyperthyroid from a virus-cold infection late march (the antibiotics did nothing for it, the virus had inflamed the thyroid, making it release too much hormone)), now just being treated with a 10 day steroid dose this week, that has me dancing in the streets again (figuratively). Long term I should be 100% normal, and I will be 100% off any and all meds, so I am fireworks pumped from the news. No cancer, no tumor, doc says I will outlive everyone, LOL. :woohoo: Frankly I thought I was dying. I called and cancelled the appointment with the mortician this week, LOL.
