What was done to YOUR rig(XJ/MJ) today MECHANICALY????

Well the 85 Diesel is not a head gasket leak. Interesting learning experience for me on radiator caps solved the problem!!! :-)

Still need to tidy up the 87 work from the last 2 weeks, see if the ignition lock will work or if I need a new column or rack between the lock and switch, finish the lower ball joint and control arm swap on my sons Ford, and get it and the 87 Jeep back on the road, and I still need a good used or new clutch peddle arm assy for the 85. Also need to finish the AC repairs and exhaust manifold repairs on the 01 saturn, so I may take day off :sunshine: since I have so little to do :repair:, LOL.

Oh, and I am thinking about just buying the local autozone store, LMAO.

Im Just Gonna Wait Until It Finally Craps Out And Swap In An Ax15. Just Need To Fing One, And Find The Money To Buy it lol

I know where there's a 3550 for sale :)

Well cause its raining I'm going to complain about what I was going to do today.

I was going to change my oil, finally chop my hinges and move my door speakers to the dash, tighten my bed bolts so my body lines match up, and order some lift parts from quadretec.... but no it has to rain!

And because its raining and I cant find actual mj tail lights I'm going to lose my tail and brake light bulbs on my passenger side!

Well I pulled the tranny everything looked good except for a slightly worn torque converter seal so I replaced the seal along with the seal between the t case and tranny. I also took the time since the t case was off to clock it 15 degrees to get ready for a custom flat belly skid plate. Fingers are crossed the tranny leaks are fixed

Lol Its Gonna Be A While Before I Can Afford It, I'm In The Middle Of A Move, How Much ThougH. And How Much Of A PITA Is It To swap

300

Not hard from what I've heard

Almost impossible to find our jeep 87-90 power steering pumps in stock now with the fluid reservoir, anywhere local.

:(

Made some progress on the non jeeps waiting on the power steering pump assy. I think the PWR STR leak was the pump, not the gear box, time will tell.

I put my 120 AMP alternator in my Jeep a week or two ago.

And the jeep still over heats. Guess Ill do a head gasket leak test at some point. For now, I'm done touching the damn thing. Not working on it until I get my girlfriend's Mini put back together.

I put the doors back on mine. It's 70 degrees and raining in Austin all week. Damn this global warming!!

i lost most of my braking pressure, did the "pump your braes and start it test" and the booster is still good must be a vacuum leak somewhere. i guess its a good thing i got my subaru going again when i did.

Damn near couldn't get a power steering pump with the reservoir any more for my 87. No one has the reservoirs anymore? Then they gave me the wrong hose, been playing games trying to swap a lifetime warranty pump for 5 days now.

My 3 month old Sears Die hard is DOA on the white 4x4 I bought last year. Something must have drained it in 2 weeks :shiver: Dead, nothing.

Still need a new or good 85 vintage clutch peddle.

My sons 96 Ford Taurus is back on the road, new ball joint finally in. Never could get the old one out, 10,000 psi bearing press and it just sat there, :shiver:, finally just replaced the lower arm it was stuck in and the ball joint. It must have been a Bimmerjeep cousin.

I'm installing hd off-road stiffeners thanks the ROM and found this
