Took All The Rubber Trim Off Today.... Finally Found Some Cancer

I'll Take Another Pic From When I Washed It Later

Got A"New" Coolant Bottle From The Jy That Im Gonna Put In Today Or Tomorrow. Then i Just Need To Burp It And Hopefully It Fixes My leak

I Have A Volvo Cap.On Order, And The Side Nipple Was Cracked Caising It To Leak. So Far So Good Seems To Be Holding Pressure, Isnt Getting ToO Hot Too FastAnd Hopefully All Is Well. Still Need To Add An E-fan Though. I Also Replaced The Rubber Hoses. Havent Burped It Yet, I Think I May Be Able To Avoud It Since I Managed To Keep Air Out Of The Lines, Going To Test It On The Way To Work Tomorrow. Will Probably Burp It Tomorrow Afternoon Just To Be On Ths Safe Side.

Finally got around to cleaning all the dirt out of the interior from the gilmer run a mounth ago.

And Yes Its Renix, Just Check My Sig ;)

Watch out for trapped air in the radiator, it is usually half full air at the top of the radiator!! It has no way to escape, the upper radiator hose shape acts like a plumbing P-trap!!!

I have found that opening the upper Rad hose at the T-stat, and opening the smaller heater hose at the upper T-stat fitting, drivers side, both open and then filling the plastic bottle to the very top (cap off at all times) several times works very well and very fast!! Once the coolant starts to come out of the small heater hose-water pump connection at the T-Stat the block is full, and the radiator is 90% full. Then seal it up, bottle cap on, all hoses reconnected, and run the engine at 3500 rpm in park for a while (2-3 minutes) and then let it cool and refill the bottle to about 3/4s full, and repeat running the engine (Bottle cap on).

If you use a hose mender on the heater hose line, and open that small line at the hose mender, about half way to the heater core, half way from the T-Stat fitting, you get the radiator closer to 100% full the first time.

MAKE sure it it is heater hose line from the T-Stat fitting, drivers side, and not the left side water pump fitting you use!!!!! It is higher and works best for letting air out the block as it bypasses the closed T-Stat!!!
