What was done to YOUR rig(XJ/MJ) today MECHANICALY????

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today MECHANICALY????

In my case I had pulled the two metal fittings, and cleaned them out, then used brand new plastic fittings, so I think I must not have gotten one of them pressed in all the way. I recall it being tight on one, and acting weird, not a clean snap, and rotatable connection like the other one.

Good news:
It was the tube fitting, tube that popped out, and pumped the T-fluid all the driveway, and not the transmission itself!:D

Goodburbon, That "to do" list looks like some of mine!!!!

By the way, if anyone is doing AC work this summer, and needs some old Renix AC stuff, like an old hose set, for dimensions, known good Renix AC condenser, etc, I have a pile of it here in Houston/Pasadena. A year or two ago somebody was scrounging for an old AC hose set for dimensions. I even have several compressors I once thought I might rebuild, but all three of my rigs have new compressors now. My spare compressors had small leaks at the front shaft seal, but still worked. I just shelved them as the new ones on Ebay were cheaper than parts at the time (one new one was $35, LOL, W/O the clutch!), but I think I have more rebuildables now than I will ever need.

decided that the light bar was going to be trouble when I smack a branch.. I plan to reuse the old lights as rear and rock lights...

so I welded some mounting tabs to the front bumper. and also cleaned up the sides and did a little bed liner work

Installed the Rusty's bumper on the XJ.
The thing is hideous! I'm starting to like it. LOL

Now you need to get one of those hammock seats to hang off of it at the camping spots when you go wheeling

Sat at the dealership for 2 hours waiting for them to do a 16 point inspection. Not that i would of had them do the work but I was under the impression they could do a fluid check while I was looming for a vacuum line kit at the service counter. Speaking of which I wanted to get a vacuum line kit and couldn't ever get anyone to come
To the service desk even after a girl went back and told him I.was waiting. I ended up going outside to ask if my jeep had been done and it was in the same place the clerk left it. Keys still in the ignition.

On my way home I picked up heater hose, bulk vacuum line, some screw ring clamps, vacuum caps, a thermostat, and rtv silly cone.

Changed my thermostat, re routed the overflow capped the open vacuums except for one that made it sound crappy and burped the coolant.

Swamprat do you still have that lift and tube doors for.me?

Let's see if this works for the 4th time. Without any more words than are absolutely necessary.
I might be able to get a truck to get the lift soon should it still be available.
I put on one rock rail on the passenger side. Need to pound out my rocker to get the.other to fit. Also travel king down mounting hardware for c4x4 rear bumper
