got a call from the shop i dropped my jeep off at, when i dropped it off they said they can do all the work i said might be needed. well they cant, and i dont have a trailer anymore, and i have to tow my jeep through downtown to the only other place in town that can do all the timing crap. this is starting to get irritating.

x2, they told you they could do something and they couldn't... they should have a wrecker or trailer themselves so worse case scenario you could ask them to give you a discounted tow rate for not completing the work that was supposed to have finished leaving you stranded... jmho

They said they could do a discounted uhaul rate... But I can use a tow strap and tow my jeep the mile down the road I need to go for free

The guys trimming the trees around my apartment complex used my Jeep by putting a coke can on one of the tires. At least someone used it today.

Got to lay under my jeep on a busy street and finish what it started on its own: dropping the rear driveshaft. For some reason, I busted the axle side u joint. It banged around pretty good while I was coming to a stop. I guess I'll drop it off tomorrow at the drivetrain shop tomorrow to get balanced and rebuilt.

slapped my dizzy in, got it running great! then my fuel pump went out. and there is an interesting whistling sound from under the hood

Got my friend to work on my jeep. He dropped my gastank and then realized my fuel pump is on the side of the tank. Then I installed my new pump in the assembly. Modifying was needed for everything to fit, but after dinner with the family I'm going to pop the assembly back in and hopefully it'll work flawlessly

make sure you get the lock ring back on right, last pump i switched out it was a bit off, came open and sloshed gallons of gas all over the road at over 4.00/gal (the last time it hit)
