This weekend I put in a new track bar, new drag link and TREs, new LCA bushings, some UCA bushings, changed the gear oil in the front D30, put on some EBC brakes and cleaned a few things up to get ready for my 1.5" RC budget lift.

about 2 weeks ago for $1600 and I've really be getting after it. I have an SJ but it was breaking faster than I could fix it so I picked up the XJ so I wouldn't have to ride my motorcycle all winter again this year. I'm going to keep this one pretty basic with 30x9.5 tires and a little lift. Hopefully it won't get out of hand like the SJ, which is for sale if anybody's interested:

I'm sure I will. Read reviews about them everywhere, all good with a random grouch. I was gunna get the BFG T/A KO but the reviews were terrible for them; I wonder why. I used to think they were some of the best.

The only bad thing about those BFGs is they need to be rotated or they have a tendency to wear poorly on the edges. I have had them on a few vehicles, most recently 35/12.5/17s on my wife's 3/4 ton Ram. They're wearing great and are actually quieter than the 33" Cepek Fun Country IIs that were on it before. Great traction in the rain, too.

My card was declined. :( Guess I'll have to buy 'em with cash next week. Blehg. I was really lookin foward to tryin them out this week too.

Those are nice.... I am jealous. What size lift are you running? Did you have to buy the adapters for the top shock mount? I have been thinking about these for a while now.

yup

i bought the mounts from rustys, but i couldnt get a wrench in there small enough to hold the bolt while i tightened down the nut from under the hood... soooooooo i had to grind off the powder coat and weld the head of the bolt to the mount... then i painted it green like my jeep :spin1:

You didn't say how much lift you are running. Looks to be at least 6.5, which is where I am at.
