Then if that wasn't enough
I built these today to. No laughing at my nuts.:jester::jester: they were all I could find in 1/2x20 size at the moment. So pick 1 is before and pic 2 is well after of course.

Now my bump stops actually have something to stop against. I drilled a hole toward the end in case I need to add another spacer on there when I actually measure the stops.

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

in this instance ruining a jeep would be lifting, moddifying, and taking offroad.
I saw that one coming....My mom still looks at mine like "what a pathetic waste of money" But,she looks at my current truck and every other vehicle I've owned since I was 16 that way too. She would rather see me making payments on a nice honda or something that gets good gas milage and doesn't leak oil. I bet yours is the same... I bet she LOVED your old ride.

I am almost 30, and my mom still says that about my jeep. Get used to it, it'll always be that way. Just tell her, "if it makes you happy and keeps you from wanting to go out and buy a new car, the the relatively small amount of money you put into your jeep is money well spent."

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

oh yea, she hated it. and so did the HOA and the owner of the house we rent. yes my old jeep was a little extreme, but a nice 2" BB XJ with lights and armor out the wahzoo XJ just looks like it belongs.

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

Looked it over and found 1 busted rock light, 1 broken u-joint, 2 bad motor mounts, and 4 bad ball joints!

Don't even bring that stuff up. I know if I got down to it and really checked mine out.... it prolly needs new unit bearings, ball joints, motor mounts, and transmission mounts. I have just been dreading messing with them.

You should just ride up to Hot Springs with us Saturday afternoon, and go to the MOROC event.

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

This goes for anyone else who might want to go as well.

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

You mean they aren't supposed to do that?

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

Shiooot. I guess mine are broken too hahaha:gee:

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

i actually did something deconstructive today to my jeep. i started on my fog light set up. so pretty much i took the center console out and put a switch in there. started on the wiring and realized i was about 8 feet short on wiring so its at a stand still now.

sorry no pics i forgot to take some

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today?

replaced both front ujoints and the driver side hub assembly. ordering a matching timken for the passenger side.
