Drove it to work and ordered a new oil sending unit. Contemplating buy a new steering setup.

Well today was fun.. put the 95 back together and well, alternator was frozen so swapped that, starter was rusted replaced that.. all in the wonderful texas heat of the garage..

thank God for lifetime warranty on parts.. tomorrow gas tank will go back in and I'll fire her up

Rebuilt my passenger side spring pack. Good timing, the center pin was sheared!

replaced the oil sending unit... yay no more crazy oil pressure readings. also replaced the spark plugs, damn wires I bought had already been used....

I uh....did nothing to the XJ yet again. I did fix a fuel leak and changed the plug wires on the FSJ. I even looked at the fuel sending unit to see if I could figure out why it doesn't work.

Mine sat in the driveway.

Colorado fest is coming up in a week and a half, my t-case is dry and full of burnt crap, my rear driveshaft is in the back seat with broken u-joints. The frame is cracking at the steering box. It's full of crap from the move. Oh, and the last time I drove it I had super ultra mega longarm death wobble.

Hey, I aired up my flat tire and charged my battery on the XJ. When I opened the hood I was shocked to find it still full of mud from Gilmer. Man, and I thought DangerGirl had actually washed the thing for me. Darn females!

I think I might have found the hood striker that I need. Once that is back on, I can return my flairs to their rightful place and cover the damage that Flores Scissorhands did with the angle grinder.

The '86 that might have the hood striker might also have the air induction pipes and valves that I need to pass inspection so I can register it and drive it on the street.

Now, I just need someone to buy the FSJ from me so I can afford to take care of the rest of the stuff.
