Pulled the transfer case to get ready for the new one. I kinda broke it on my last run to Gilmer. Got the seats out to get ready for the new rubber carpet and ordered the cage to get ready to cut the top off.

dropped one of my headlights taking it apart and shattered it, took the front end off, got some new wheels and 32" BFG MT's and put on it.

Changed the oil in the new rig, it was reading WAY over on the dip stick when I got it, decided to measure it when I dumped, was just under 6 quarts which is about right for the 4.0L.
Is this a common issue for XJ's? My TJ never had this issue, same engine.

is your oil pan undented or do you have the right dip stick? try comparing the stick to the one in your TJ

Well it took a little while... Only able to work at night due to the heat but I got my light bar mounted and wired in. Pics to follow.
