What was done to YOUR rig(XJ/MJ) today MECHANICALY????

Well that's exactly what it did so that's comforting to know.

The first time it happened to me, I was towing all my stuff back from Fort Rucker and I freaked out a little bit. Before I could get off 10 it went back to just over 210 so I slowed back down to 60MPH (in 3rd) and it never went over 210 again. Recently it started doing it again around Houston in the stop and go traffic and I had a few chances to watch is closely. It would creep over 210 then just jump all the way to the right and after about 20-30 seconds drop back to just over 210. New radiator cap and new clutch fan and it is staying cooler.

Instead of doing an engine swap on my Forester, I've decided to use that cash towards the Jeep instead. I miss wheeling.

Worked on a couple rigs at my place today.

Welded the nut for the bolt going through the trackbar on the axle end to the mount/axle housing so I cant actually unbolt it when the time comes for that.

Got the Jeep aligned. About to check fluids and clean it up a little for my drive to El Paso tomorrow.

i've been noticing a slight miss lately, checked and re gaped the plugs and it is getting worst. so i think its time for an overhaul, been eyeballing some of those fancy accel/fireball or what ever the brand is tune up kits. might give it a shot.

Got the 85 diesel inspected :-)

Trying decide on what gears to use in my XJ. Running 32s so thinking 4.10s.

After 4 months of serious illness, bed riden, I drove again yesterday for the first time since April

Woohoo!

4.56 would be ideal for 33's, with your jeep being auto 4.10s is doable. There are number of tire/gear ratio calculators out there

Id like to think I could jump up to 33s soon, but I dont think Ill be able to so I'll be on 32s for a while. Think Ill pull the trigger on the 4.10s.

I just picked up my 87 from Adam at Upfront Chassis here in Lorena TX. I hated just strapping my tire down in the rear so now it’s secure!!! He made and mounted it for less than I have paid for an hours labor elsewhere. Won’t post a price as I think I got a small bit of deal because I was first ;)

Now let’s get on the TRAILS!!!
