Can someone just yank that "Lil' wil" magnetic mount off?

YES. It's just magnetic mounted. That said, its a very strong magnet and I have never knocked it off wheeling. I usually put it on to go out and take it of the truck when I get back. Not for security just don't like it on all the time.
