What to do??? (long)

I am in High School, and its my Senior year....so important year. Technically I don't really have a 1st period, so that always helps. I'd ride the big cheese if it actually came to my neighborhood, but it doesn't. I definately can't miss the entire day or i'd be WAY behind in all my classes (physics, pre-calc, and chemistry) Had it been my spohomore year or something, i'd be trying to take off the entire week....LOL. Might be able to work something out the week of thanksgiving.

heres my idea, sell the 99, buy mid 90's.. then you would have no loan, a small dent wouldnt hurt it too bad, and you would have been $300 richer. You wouldn't worry about a dent in a bumper, probably enjoy being able to use the jeep what it was designed for, and end up adding a few more dents of your own. I guess I just don't understand why a high school student has a loan for? What ever happened to driving a beater for a few years?

Around here, the older ones are either the cherry, low miles, garage kept, driven to church and the store and back on sundays type, or had the piss run out of them, beat up, 400K death traps. There is no inbetween. And I really like the lay out of the 97+ models (especially interior). So the way I see it is I can either spend the money up front and buy a good one and pay it off, or buy an old one outright, and spend the same ammount keeping it running. I found mine with 62K on it in Jan. of this year, and i'm at 73K now. The only things i've really put into it are gas (and alot of it), tires, and oil changes. I did replace the tires by choice, and put some new shoes on the rear drums, as well as a valve cover gasket and a tune up. But that is all basic maint. I really couldn't ask more from it. It's just now starting to leak from the oil pan and the rear main, but thats common on the 4.0 from my understanding, and my switching to Mobil 1 probably sped up the process.

Besides, my loan is under $200/month. And if I play my cards right, I can pay it off before I go to college, which will be very nice as I can haul alot of crap in there.
