Cummins Diesel... don't get no beater damn tow rig. get a real truck. But get diesel. If you want a small car the get smashed again. Get a Diesel VW. TDI...

I got almost 20K miles on my '08 G-35. Seems tight so far, I think you get a bit more for you buck compared to the BMW, Baby Benz, Acura, Lexus comparables.

MPG aint so great.....but it is a super responsive car.

so far im liking the 04-06 Acura TLand the 03-05 Infinity G35.

For under $15k you can get a decent car.

And Rob im not looking for a ricer to make fast lol....

Im all about keeping em stock.

How about a SRT4? I know someone selling one...Stage 2, willwoods, really fast..

i cant get a fast car......ill get in too much trouble.

not saying a neon is fast lol.....

i used to eat those things for lunch in my LS1 trans am....

Yeah dont get a neon... POS. lol

I hear these are pretty good on gas, bud.

Chevy Malibu. I've had my eye on them for a minute now. Debating on gettin one myself. Good lookin cars, cheap, and they even have a hybrid model.

Go with Subaru WRX. AWD, turbo, decent gas mileage 20/27 city/highway and a lot less expensive to repair than an Audi. Plus Subaru’s have a heritage for playing in the dirt like Jeeps.

Not all of them! Before my f-150 I had the POS SRT4. 591ft/lbs tq to the Wheels! only 397 hp (if I remember that correctly) though. Got 3 tickets in 6 months after meth inj, 100shot, stage 2 inj and gt40 turbo and lots of other supporting mods. on the freeway I didnt find a car that I could not walk on EASILY! never found a ferarri or lambo type on the fwy though. But 911 turbo's vettes 5.slows etc.. I got rid of it at about 12000 miles and it was falling apart though. POS.. but fastest POS I Ever drove.

I agree though with others. Get a quality Diesel and cruise it daily and tow. If you only need a 2dr short bed, then even the 4x4 variety will get ya 17mpg or more. Not to mention with some expensive quality add-ons you can again have a rig that will smoke (in more ways then one) 90% of the cars on the road.

Good god almighty, how many illiterate people do we have on NAXJA? Ben keeps saying "I don't need a fast car", and every other suggestion is "get the turbo blah blah with nitrous". Justin, I'll let you slide- but damn people, pay attention.

yeah, Ben needs another XJ that he can't smog or register or whatever.
The best I've gotten in my Dodge Ram 4x4 extracab Diesel is 22.5. And I can pull a house and a jeep with it.
Get a big tank for it Ben and when fuel prices go back up to $5/gallon you can swing by my place once a month and fill up on BioD for about $3.25-$3.50/gallon.
Throw some 285's on it and your milage might improve a bit. Its not unheard of for Diesel trucks to get over 25/gallon.

im looking at infinity g35s and a tow rig now.....

i can get a G35 for like $12k and a tow rig for 5 and ill over finance a bit and get a trailer too.....

Cheap to fix until the 70/30 diff splitter goes out. And to play in the dirt is very expensive to set up.

We had an influx of them at the racetrack until subaru decided not to warranty the diff splitter. Just over 3k to fix it in most cases.

Just my .02 worth

Reg ole diesel fuel in at $3.19 (last week, now might be less) in OC. FINIALLY!
