Just wondering if its worth saving a few bucks on buying a set of these. I mean my safety and well being is worth exponentially more than saving money. On the other hand, they seem like they stand behind their product and the tire looks aggressive. I am tied up between these for 471 shipped to my door (re-treads)

Thanks guys.... I appreciate it!!! :eeks1:

I have no qualms w/ the retreads. Flex actually ran them on his green Jeep until it was T-boned by a bus full of heroin addict old ladies on ther way to bingodoing 372 mph.

On a serious note, for the money they are great. We have had various ones on our farm trucks over the years and got along as well as a store bought new tire. I would not be afraid to buy some again when the need arrises. The only reason I did not buy some for my new little chore truck is b/c I had credit at the local tire shop and I just bought there.

I picked up a treadwright for my full size spare. I run KM2's and they used to make a tread pattern that was almost the same as the KM2, it even came on a BFG carcass. The guy at the tire shop told me he was surprised how easy it balanced. I would run them if i did not have the $ for a set of non-retread.

I am planning on getting a set of these when the time comes. my rig will be a driver but not daily driven so i am hoping ill be just fine. plus the trad looks much better in your pics, i say get em and let me know what you think about them

Josh ran them way back in the day before they changed to the treadwright name. I don't htink he had any problems.

I have a set of Treadwrights on my tow rig, no complaints. I towed a 10k load shortly after putting them on and they handled it fine.

no pics of it up here. It is a beauty!! It is a eral POS but for $800 it will work. It had 3 different sizes fo exhaust on it all wired together! Hope to score the falt bed at the auction tomorrow so I can keep my D60/10.25 combo. I will post some pics of this hot lil rig in the next few days...she is hawt!!

to the OP, sorry for the thread hijack......but it happens here from time to time :D

Yup, I loved them. They got a little loud though. Big Hank has some of the ones you are looking at on the front of his new rig and they are insanely loud from what he says.

What about airing down? That is what would make me hesitant on a trail only rig.

Every time I wheeled I aired mine down. It does void their warranty though.

^^^True statement^^^

These are used and I've only driven on them for a week. The wear pattern is great. Scary note: They do look like I ran over 19.2 billion thumb-tacks and pulled them all out. <---I'm not sure what that's all about.
