What is an excellent aftermarket Ignition Coil?

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I could not find what I was looking for by searching the forums. I have a 94 XJ 4.0 and I need to purchase a new ignition coil. I'm looking for the most reliable unit that will outperform the stock coil, but still be a direct replacement and not harm the ECM. I was hoping you guys would know of an excellent aftermarket coil for this engine. Thank you.

I had an Accel die on me(hard starting and wouldn't go above 3Krpm). Before I found out about my bad stock timing set was the culprit of my no start, I bought an MSD coil(wanted to try one for a while). Once I got the new set on, I started my Jeep and drove around the neighborhood. On the way back to the house, the Jeep conked out. I took out the MSD, swapped back in the stock coil and all was fine(Jeep's running off my energy). So I'm 0 for 2 on the two most popular aftermarket coils available.

Stock timing sets are made of soft, ductile metal gears and big single chain. I replaced with a JP 5629/Rollmaster CS7100 billet dual roller set. From SilverXJ: http://208.101.10.250/~naxjaor1/forum/showthread.php?t=977237

The stock coil IS the most reliable so just get a stock replacement.

I put the “scream’in demon” coil with the Performance Ignition live wires (Kit) on mine back in 2005 and it is still running strong. Its on a YJ, but still a 4.0, motor has been soaked and packed with snow no issues.

I'm on my 3rd Borg warner ignition coil, but I think I'm cooking them with the lean engine and extra gap in the plugs
