what header should I buy

well it finally happened, my stock manifold is now cracked. So it's time to buy a header. Just wondering what header some of you are using and how you like it. I have a 92 xj, 4.0l ho, manual trans. already have dynomax cat back kit, throttle body spacer, and k&n cold air intake.

My preference is Clifford. I have been working with them to optimize their header with a header to cat pipe specifically designed for the XJ. That would simplify things a lot.

I am not sure about the older models, but on my 2000, I installed the Banks Tourque tube. It was a PITA, but a real nice header.

Borla, and I really like it. I would have it coated with the ceramic coating if I had it to do over again. Other than that, I wouldn't change anything else. Good Luck

i noticed on cliffords web site that they only list a dual outlet header. i can't afford to redo my entire exhast system, do they make a single outlet?

What do you gain by having your header ceramic coated?

I'm thinking to keep heat inside the header and keep the ambient temp down in the engine bay. I don't know, seems like the most logical answer.

After I asked I figured it was probably for heat dissipation, but I'm still not sure of an exact reason.
