What fits?

Anyone with experience putting V8's in a Cherokee? '86 4 door to be specific. What fits?, what doesn't?, any recomendations?

if youve got the 2.8 a cadilliac 4.5 or 4.9 is a direct bolt on with just a mod for the starter to fit in there right, and new motor mounts of course, how easy does that get.

I know a 302 fits in an 86.

I actually have the 2.5 4cyl currently, so a direct bolt from any of those is out....

Lexus V-8's of the 4.0 or 4.3 variety fit nicely.

I think with bit more work, you could get a Northstar in it.
