-I've got a check engine light on that I'm not sure I'll address. Came on when pulling it off the trailer from Moab. Some kind of massive leak in the environmental systems of the gas tank evap.
-I want to take the pucks out of the front and get it realigned, apparently the move to a warn vr10 winch with synthetic line has lightened the front up enough that I think it sits too high. I have new bump stops to put in it if I lower it.
-My new metal cloak gas tank skid arrived the other day. 1.5 inches more for ground clearance...of course the gas tank is full. If I do the skid, I'll do a new fuel pump, just cause I'm already in there...might find the cause of the cel too...
-Adjust brakes on trailer
-Clock transfer case
-Add smooth skid/belly plate
-Fix leaky tire
-Fix oil leak at filter
-Check all fluids
-Replace filter on transmission
Change the oil.
Fix exhaust.
Fix axle side steering stabilizer mount.
New air filter.
What should be done.
Change oil, diff, and maybe transmission/TC fluids.
Fix passenger side upper control arm mount. (Wasn't clocked in the correct position when it was fixed last time.)
Install Iron Man 4x4 Long Arm kit.
OTK Steering kit.
OTA Track Bar kit
New rear leafs.
Install the new tablet for GPS logging.
Replace the 10+ years old Pioneer HU with one that has BT. (The current one actually has BT, but you have to manually pair it every time.)
nothing really on the must do list. but on my like to do list
replace pass seat
replace throttle body
purchase and install center console
see if i can get heat
Pull the trans on the JK and replace the torque converter and also build a new rear bumper for our JK. The wife hates driving it with no rear bumper lol. If I don't do that, there will be no play time for the XJ...
Here is what I want to do to the XJ in the next few weeks:
Finally upgrade booster to a dual diaphragm booster along with rear disc brakes
Install the JCR OTK steering I got for Christmas
Reconfigure cargo area which may or may not include doing away with the bench seat
Relocate shocks through the floor with a hoop or cross bar
Upgrade gears, not sure if it is in the budget with everything else the wife and I are wanting to do this year
Still haven't touched the jeep. Need to change fluids, throw on steering box brace and gas her up. Everything else isn't important. Like reenforcing my frame so it doesn't tear apart.
