What do you guys think about my stroker recepie

Where did you hear that? AFAIK, all the 4.0 heads have chambers in the 56-58cc range. I agree about cc'ing everything so that you know exactly what CR your engine has. There's enough variation in manufacturing tolerances to cause a variance in CR of 0.2-0.3 between engines build to the so-called "same spec".
Dino good to see you here, BTW i was hoping to see your bid on the intake, looks like you were to jet lagged, also need your final verdict on my setup now that i am getting the Venolia pistons and eagle rods. How much HP do you think i will make???, any suggestions, you know we all treat you as the 4.0 God!!!!

Rav,
I would have loved that intake but there were two problems. The first is that I'm limited to only one piece of carry-on luggage on the plane so i wouldn't have been able to carry it; the second was that the price went over $110 and I could get one in a junkyard over here for similar money without worrying about carrying it.
Your stroker spec looks good. Now that you're getting the Eagle rods and venolia pistons, you can go for a lower CR than 9.5 if you want to. You also don't need to deck the block anymore to lower the quench because you can specify the pin height of the pistons that you want.
In that case go for zero deck clearance so that with the Mopar/Victor head gasket, the quench will be 0.043". To get zero deck clearance without decking the block, the piston pin height should be 1.380".
To get a 9.5:1 CR, the piston dish volume should be 26.0cc if you shave 0.010" from the head. If you want a lower CR, you can lower the CR by ~0.1 by adding 1.0cc more to the piston dish volume.

thanks for your reply, too bad about your luggage as i just found 2 places in florida that have the intake for 65, and 95$, you can check them out under car-part.com, and select florida for the state to look for, one is from a cherokee and the other is from a grand.

Thanks for all your help;
ravi
