Hey guys I actually just read about these Rancho RS9000x 9-way adjustable shocks that come with a kit that let u adjust them from inside the cab using a small air compressor with gauges and switches. Price on all 4 shocks and full kit for in-cab adjustment is $515. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thumbs up or thumbs down?

Are you racing your jeep? I mean why the need for adjustable shocks. I personally think Rancho is crap but thats just me...

Check our OME, Rubicon MFG monotube, Bilstein, -or- for that price get some Fox racing shocks...

not just you, believe me. If you are racing that thing, even a better reason to STAY AWAY from Rancho

really!? ok well ummmm... Im not racing or anything my jeep is a rockcrawler/daily driver. Im not a fake I swear I have an RE longarm setup with all the fixins lol! But ok it sounds like this set up isnt really isnt that great huh?

for that kind of money, I would prefer a re-buildable tunable shock such as a bilstein 7100 series, you know what they say about opinions though, good luck.

Bilstien 5125 or 5150's would be a much better investment IMO. I love mine.

I had rancho 9000's. I did not have the incab adjuster, I had to go to each shock and change it. My experiance was I could never get them adjusted "right". Some corner was always too soft or too hard, etc.

I replaced them with Bilstien 5125's and later Bilstien 7100's.

I will never go back. It would be like going from a Ferarri to a Fiero. Sure, they are both better than a VW Bus.. but is that really saying a lot?

hey the VW bus is tight! what are ya talking about! lol! But u guys are right, those are prolly better.... Shit for that money I should get a front locker huh!

4 Bilstien 5150s, ~$89 each
D30 Aussie ~240

Your only about $75 over your rancho setup, and much better off.. ;)
