What did you do to your XJ today

Possible dirt in the flares?
I usually make sure to do an extra clean just before I attach the brake lines. It's the downside I have to working in my driveway ... Just have to be extra careful to clean things.

Nope, everything is literally brand new, and quite clean.
I've narrowed the 't' leak to a defective part, however the calipers have me wondering. I'll try another set of copper washers, after that oriley's is giving me a different pair of calipers till I get some that seal.
I'm just tired of paying good money for parts that are bad out of the box.

Got a aftermarket rear steel braided line, fixed that leak. Defective oriley's part.....

Then last night I went to every auto parts in town and all their calipers are the same. Junk
I know why it leaked now. Did some searching and centric makes some decent calipers, luckily I have a good friend that works at Schwabes and I know they use centric so I called in a favor. Less than an hour and I had calipers, unfortunately one looked like it was hit by a hammer where the banjo bolt goes so they ran me another.
I'll be putting it together shortly but I'm confident it will be 100% leak free

Here are some photos to explain the half ass bullshit calipers all the parts stores stock

This is what it should look like

Well the first bracket set I made was just not what I wanted, so I ended up with this setup today. I like it much better, more room for the PS pump below it. And it clears the stock hood.

Picked up a D30 HP non disco with abs for free! I had been thinking about building up my current D30 a little but never wanted to waste the time on my current D30 with the CAD

Electric fan stopped working yesterday on my drive home from work and the jeep got to about 230 before I made it home. Replaced the relay and now it's coming on at a nice 210!

Replaced dash cluster lights with LEDs. Didn't really want to but ended up working well, just can't dim them now.
Also installed frame tie in kit for a winch bumper from JCR Off Road. Now just need to get started weldin the bumper together.

Threw on a set of 29" tires to replace my 33" because one tire got popped and I didn't have a spare lol large open fenders and small tires make for a weird looking xj lol

Any Xj, with you in it looks weird Larry.....
Just sayin

Touché lol

On another note, got mostly everything reassembled on my 91' burple jeep after tearing the intake and exhaust manifold off to have Brandon weld up the cracks on the exhaust header. Just got to get the front fan on and belt tensioned back up and il see if I messed anything up when I turn the key lol

Started cleaning up a Dana 30 to replace the one under the jeep and noticed a small pinhole in the diff housing :/ I can patch it but it made me a little sad
