They are freakin thick lol and ya specfab was the one who convinced me, as I was originally gonna go with the HD ones.

They are full length for long arm installs but can be cut for short arm they have 2 bends to support under the floor not just wrap the rail and they are 3/16 thick

no, gas tank was one of my 1st mods. I wheeled it good open/open on 3" and 31s for a while...

Finally got around to getting the jeep trail ready again. Replaced front axle (lost ujoint cap), got the broken exhaust hanger welded up, replaced control arm bolt, new battery and some air in the tires

Suns out, guns out! Time to play again!!!

Finished cleaning up my headlight harness build with some anti-chafe wrap and securing the relays in place. Can barely tell it's there now.

Got new shoes on the Jeep, 31x10.50R15 Goodyear DuraTracs, made the switch from the Bfgoodrich KM2's, and I like them more already, so much quieter on the Highway and almost as aggressive looking. I got a set of 5 mounted and balanced out the door for $899, and a $75 mail in rebate

My XJ, well it got the tank skid and rear hitch installed, just got to burn the new brackets on to the frame in da morning, pulled the crossmember welded on the t-case skid I made last weekend, rebuilt the ballistic joints in the LCA's, new u-joint in the front DS, And took her for a spin. damn it feels good now!

How are the trails out there? I think the Kingsley Reservoir trails are too much for my rig. I'd like to check out the Surveyors Ridge trails.

They're actually pretty challenging considering how new they are. Lots of technical sections through the trees, a few good rocky climbs, and a Crusher-ish rock garden. I'd recommend maybe checking them out when things dry out a bit. I definitely want to head back out soon though with a smaller group.

Yeah, the guys who build and maintain the trails are really into the technical crawling and it shows. They do a good job though it seems.

Got the rear hitch and gas tank skid on, mounted the front skid on also. So I'm officially fully skidded lol need to take this jeep out soon lol
