What did you do to your XJ today

Mean to post this up last weekend, and forgot.... but big thanks to He-Man for allowing me the use of his driveway and welder..... "Fabbed" up some "disco keepers" ...and they work AWESOME!

Haha I have no seat bottom, I have one back seat folded down, and one in the upright position. It has a purpose, I promise.

More storage under the seat?

Two seat backs!

The bare metal is now coming out, it'll get paint then the shelf will get sides, a rubber mat on the bottom and tie downs & voila, a charging station for my laptop, handheld 2m radio & battery chargers!

Im looking forward to seeing the end results

EDIT: Ive gone through a bunch of possibilities of what it could be for in my mind....but I cant come up with a solid reason for needing no bottom but two backs....

So Im going to be doing a timing set in my 95 in the next few days is there anything else that I might want to do while I have the front torn apart? I did the water pump 3 years ago PS pump 2 years ago the front seal is about the only thing I can think of.
Things I have done to the wifes Peep is bushings and extra Isolator to make it sit closer to level found that the drive shafts have grease fittings all over them so I greased them up.Is it a AMC deal only because my 95 didnt have any grease fittings.

double check the fan clutch and harmonic balancer? when the balancers go bad the outer ring can walk backwards and tear through the timing cover. ask me how i know

Tried my damnedest to run it out of gas....got my DTE on the overhead console to say 0 Miles but it limped into the gas station. Tomorrow I will be putting new plugs in it. Got some Champion 7034's? for it I think they were and then I also picked up the ambient temp sensor from the stealership for my new overhead console that I will remove the grill and bolt in tomm. as well since the factory wiring is already there for some plug and play action.
