What did you do to your XJ today

I installed the bumper I bought from torx a few months ago. I like the new approach angle and front tow points that I now have.
 
Installed my cb. Mounted the antenna dead center on the roof. Makes my Jeep look like a damn rc car :laugh3:

I'll most likely wire in another mount that's lower (thinking driver side fender) for when i'm wheeling so it doesn't get ripped off. But for now I was more concerned with best performance.

Attempted to replace the left front hub too the other day but when I went to remove the axle nut the entire end of the axle twisted off. Going to start tracking down the manufacturer of the shaft to try and get it warrantied tomorrow.
 
over the past few days: wheeled it, blew a high pressure hose on the ps, ordered a jcr winch bumper, scheduled my 30 to get re-geared in the absence of me finding one already done
 
i stared at one that needs to get parted out once I move and stared at another one that needs parts from the other one...... they have been sitting for so long now I might have to prime the motors to even get them started.
 
no money tree. just savings. im spending a lot right now cause i have a lot going on starting in just a few months and want to finish the big stuff before hand.

im already planning a honeymoon and a wedding. then we plan to start trying to have a child before the year is over. with those changes im not going to be able to spend as much time wrenching and as much money as I am now.




oh, and Im picking up a red top on the way home.

Oh gotcha ya.

Don't get a red top get a Deka Dominator much better battery IMO.

looks like a marine battery. and im pretty sure i have a marine battery in my jeep now haha. the thing is monsterous. I suppose I should check the cca's on it before I replace it. ill wait a day to pick up the battery.

Number 5 was dead. Eric and I replaced the plug which was new, swapped the wire which was also new, replaced the injector with no results. Today I ran a compression test all between 115 and 130 and then fired it up and it ran great.... wtf????? Now I'm getting minimal heat after replacing the thermostat..... its. Jeep thing and I don't understand
