What did you do to your XJ today

It doesn't show how Dick went from rigid to lying down. Where are the action shots?

dropped in a new fuel pump, running great now.

Good deal man. Sure you don't wanna do tahuya tomorrow?

I put one tow hook on...... Broke a drill bit too. Ready for the crazy stuff!!

doing a Donner party run up Denny creek

Drove up Denny Creek to the top of the pass, clutch master died at the top and had to drive out in 1 gear. then drove home in 4th.

Got stuck at sunset falls, apperenty 4 wheel drives work better if you actually use it. I figured that out and then I got stuck again apperenty an ARB doesn't work very well unless you engage both locking hubs. Turned around and came home and put it back in the garage, until I can remember how to use it. :O For the record I guess I only got stuck once, I just couldn't make it up this little dirt mount in 2 wheel drive cause it was slick and my Jeeps ass is so heavy. I think next time I hit up some snow I will leave my speaker box and spare at home?

Thanks guys. Maybe it'll get some fresh paint towards the end of next summer.
Working on an alarm & remote start installation now.
Coming soon: CDI ignition with rev limiter, Dana 44 rear axle, and 4.10 gears.

Figured I would do a quick update on just a couple things I did to the Cherokee today. I got the spare header out and welded up the cracks that typically form in these stock 4.0L headers. I then wrapped it with Titanium DEI exhaust wrap and painted on some silicone black paint. My goal here is to see if I can cool down the under hood temperature a little bit. After that I took the existing intake and header off the Cherokee and swapped the headers out. I then put it all back together. I had a Airaid throttle body spacer to then go on next. That was the easy part to swap on lol. After that I then changed the oil and filter to top the fun off. Its now ready to go to the exhaust shop where it will then get a new high flow cat and a new muffler!

Starting early preparations again for Moab like last year

A pic of the header wrapped up.

That looks good! Are you worried about the header burning out? I read somewhere that the wraps cause premature failure pretty quick.
