What did you do to your XJ today

well im really excited i hope everyone else is also well i just picked up a 78 ford hp44 with an ox locker, 488s, and a tnt truss and a cherokee 44 rear with 488s and a detroit. well needless to say i switched the ox and detroit cause the front has hubs so whats the point of the fully selectable locker in the front. got them all installed (finished at 1 this morning) than took it out wheeling today and everything ran great and went wherever i pointed it it was sweet and i only paid 1700

Found a pretty bad crack in my tracbar mount, messed with my brakes some more with almost no change, and it has developed quite an oil leak.

OEM or aftermarket track bar mount? I still have my stock one if you need it.

What's the issue with the brakes? Make sure the calipers are on the right way (bleeders on top).

How bad is bad? Carry spare oil, fix later.

As treasurer elect, you are required to make it to the Thanksgiving Run.

took the muffler off (the driveshaft was rubbing on it) and replaced the ripped valve stem.

Tightened the rear driveshaft bolts that were not even finger tight.

Didnt check the front DS bolts.

Going wheeling tomorrow.

Nice, sounds like a REALLY good deal, where did those come from?

lol nice header i got the same one.

Took the jeep down to the plant i work at and fabbed up some supports for my drop brackets. Then had my buddy Mo weld them up for me. They look pretty good and also feel like they tightened up my frame a little. They should also help with not getting hung up on rocks and stuff while in reverse.
