What did you do to your XJ today

Got about 20 miles under my belt today including freeway! Drives great, but it doesn't really stop, it just kind of slows down. Maybe I'll work on that.

what is your current setup for brakes?
 
Took the white jeep on its first out of town trip today. I had to go pick up my laser work in donald oregon and I have been worried about this trip all week. Finally did the math last week and I was only getting 7.5 MPG! Including factoring in tire size difference. Did some research to find out what all I could do to fix this issue. So this morning I set out to the JY and was lucky to find some ford orange top injectors with the 4 hole spray pattern out of a t bird with a 4.6. The previous injectors where the same ones that sat for 8 years before I bought the jeep and had # 5 and 6 had actually been leaking out of the body. Then I poured half a can of sea foam down the TB and put the rest in the tank. Bought a set of new NGK plugs and fixed the bolt that was broke on the down pipe/header that was allowing cold air to be sucked in before the o2 sensor. I borrowed the wires, cap and rotor off my stroker since they were pretty new.

440 Miles today, premium gas the whole way. I still havent geared so I ran 3rd gear the whole way about 65 MPH at 2100 RPMs. Did the math according to GPS mileage. About 13.8 MPG. Definitely an improvement but still going to work on it.

Currently there is a super soft pedal to the left of the go petal. I think that should be attached to a newer dual diaphram bb/mc. With new soft lines to axles and axles are new too. Oh and the shoes out back are about done. But I spent at least 8 minutes bleeding the system.

That would be about right, I live 2.5 hours away and I have no free time between now and my wedding.

Yeah sorry about that It's been sitting I'm having knuckle issues that are preventing my from installing.

I got another XJ this is a 89 2dr laredo no carpet or headliner bad exuast leak and a sweet front bumper 3 inch lift with drop braket (EEWW) there goes the ground cleance.Has bad DIY bed liner on the roof and floors but runs good.Put all 3 seats out of another 87 into it so it has seats now.Post pics later
